Two major retailers has been find this month for the negligence of it’s workers who suffered serious injuries following accidents involving forklift trucks.

80mph Motorway Plans Go Ahead

The government has agreed to trial speed limits of 80mph on some sections of motorways across the country, some are already in place.

Woman Escapes Death From Overturned Lorry

A female driver had a miracle escape yesterday after a 40-tonne lorry overturned crushing her car.

The lorry flipped on its side blocking all three lanes for more than eight hours, forcing thousands of motorists to take alternative routes.

Miraculously the woman walked away from the accident with minor cuts to her hands. The
accident happened yesterday morning between junctions 29 and 28 on the M6 between Lockstall Hall and Leyland, Preston, Lancashire. Continue reading

Survey Reveals Motorway Tailgating Risks Lives

Following a recent survey conducted by road safety charity BRAKE, PHC Law is appealing for motorists to take extra care whilst driving on motorways.

Brake and Direct Line who carried out the survey amongst 942 motorists found that:

Over 53% of those surveyed admit breaking the two second rule on motorways, compared to 49% in a similar survey carried out in 2004.

Motorway Plans Go Ahead for Learner Drivers 2013

In 2013 it is intended for learner drivers to undergo driving lessons on the motorway if accompanied by a qualified driving instructor.

Dairy Worker Receives £3,500.00 Damages

Mr. Wilkinson was a production worker working at a dairy.

He was working doing his own job when a pressure tank failed and caused the lid on the tank to be released without pressure.

A plastic screw with a metal insert was thrown out which struck him on the side of the head. He was not knocked out by the blow but it did make him feel sick and he subsequently vomited. He was taken to hospital but released after being kept under observation. He was away from work for 7-weeks. Continue reading
