Broken Nose Injury Claim
A broken nose is one of the most common injuries we deal with for criminal injury victims. The injury is usually caused when people engage in fights that turn physical. There are many other causes as well for instance a slip, trip or fall accident that might have occurred in the workplace or public place, a car or motor bike accident and so on.
Symptoms
Some of the most common symptoms include an unusual swelling of the nose and cheeks. Other signs and symptoms can develop such as blood clotting around the nose, black eyes, bleeding and excessive pain. There may even be a deformation in the shape of your nose. It is recommended, should this be the case that you visit your GP and arrange to have your nose X-rayed as soon as possible. We recommend that you keep a copy or receipt of all the medical expenses you have incurred.
Recovering losses
If you have sustained a broken nose injury due to someone else’s negligence or have been a victim of a crime, you may be entitled to claim compensation. We advice that you provide us with any relevant documentation to help support your case and also provide us with any medical evidence or record of having attending a medical establishment and/or having been signed off work by your GP as a result of your injury. As part of the claims process, we will recover the compensation you deserve and also recover compensation for any financial loss or medical treatment that you might have had to pay out of your own pocket. Our aim is to make sure you make a healthy recover both physically and financially as though the accident never happened.
